PORTAL TO THE CITY

The design of the Rizhskaya metro station (formerly Rzhevskaya) was developed as part of an international architectural competition and went through several stages before being selected as the winner of the public vote on the Active Citizen platform. The main design element of the station is a repeating arch motif, embodying the concept of a «portal to the city.» The project was developed in collaboration with Blank Architects (Russia).‍
